Our favorite 'cala' in MenorcaWe make a point to ‘hike’ to this ‘cala’ every time we visit Menorca. It would be Christmas card 2018, if we were doing them! :-)
Palacio Real MadridThe largest royal palace in Europe! Maggie researched this one before we came to Spain and noted that the dining room seats 440 for a formal supper.
Made it to Madrid!!This was our first day out and about in the capital city of Spain. (19th September) We walked from our Airbnb to the Palacio Real and passed this little alley on the way for breakfast.
Rowing in Retiro Park!It was hot - so we went to this amazing ‘park’ to cool down. The girls splashed themselves with lots of water.
Chapel in MadridWe went in quite a few during our visit and sadly I don’t recall the name of this one. Where possible we lit candles for Great-Grandma who was home and near death’s door.
